My name is Ronald de Grauw and I am a photographer from the Netherlands.
I created this site to show my work.
My first digital camera was a Minolta dimage 2300, then i used a Canon Powershot G3. The equipment i currently use:
Digital SLR: Nikon D200
Tokina 12-24 AF DX
Nikon AF-S VR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED IF
Nikkor AF 70-210 f4,
Nikon Nikkor AF 35mm F2,
Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED
Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 1.4x converter
Canon angelfinder C (works perfectly with Nikon)
Nikon 52MM filter L37C
B&W Circ Polarizer filters, a must have for photography seascapes, sunny skies and objects with much reflection!
Storage: Apacer Share steno OTG, 40 gig and Apacer Disc Steno CP100
Italy GalleryWe visited Italy from april 24th till may 5th 2006.
In spring the Italy is beautifull. We had nice temperatures between 19 C - 25 C. Altough it was mostly cloudy during our holiday
Often i see discussions on the net about using a polarizer filter for a digital SLR. My advise is: buy one!.
You will get deep green/blue see colors without reflections. Also the skies and clouds are wunderfull
The clear blue waters and beaches in Sardinia gives you a tropical feeling. The polarizer became a very usefull add-on.
For land - sea scapes photos i used the Tokina 12-24mm DX lens. A winner in my opinion! A lot cheaper as the Nikon but the same quality!!
The Nikon 70-200 2.8 VR lens is fantastic. With the Kenko 1.4 converter a great combination. The lens is fast and sharp.
O.K. a little heavy to carry but that doesn't matter if you want to have good results....
Shoot some portraits with the 35mm F2 also a great performer on the Nikon D200
Gallery lay-outThis website was designed and developed by Mediabeeld.nl
It's very easy to generate and update this gallery in just a few seconds, we have developed a program called "My Photo Site"
For post processing photos i recommend the My Photo Site features !
